Cutting with the device
Before cutting set the temperature using the temperature adjustment knob (A). Check proper
functioning of the device prior to commencement of work. To do this, cut a discarded piece of
material. If fumes are generated during the operation it indicates that the pre-set temperature
is too high or the cutting speed is too low. Readjust the blade temperature and/or the cutting
speed. The knife will heat up to the pre-set temperature in a matter of seconds. To ensure
the maximum service life of the knife always use it within the given parameters and at proper
temperature.
Always follow the guidelines on work cycles when working with the device, i.e. 15 seconds of
continuous operation and 45 seconds of pause per each minute.
Attention! When cutting different types of plastic materials, always review manufacturer's specifications
concerning the material's softening, melting or degradation temperature!
