1 - NOTICES
Only properly trained service personnel may perform
installation and service procedures. (In other words:
electricians, service personnel employed by or active in
an organization, business, or service).
All power must be turned off prior to wiring, installing,
servicing, setting the bypass switches or the DIP
switches.
More than one disconnect is required to de-energize
power to the Versillum Light Dimmer.
Make sure to separate high voltage wiring from low
voltage (Class 2) control wiring.
Use copper wires only.
2 - SAFETY SYMBOLS
WARNING: Read the following text
carefully; it contains important information
which, if ignored, may cause the controller
to operate improperly.
High Voltage. Hazard of electrical shock.
Protective Earth Ground Terminal.
Primarily used for protective earth
terminals.
3 - INSTALLATION
The Versillum Light Dimmer must be mounted in a
location that has sufficient air circulation around the
box. Minimum clearance is 25" W x 29.5" H to ensure
protection against electrical conducted noise.
1. Mount the Versillum on the wall using the
minimum clearance and wire it referring to the
wiring diagram. Install using 4 lag screws.

4 - SETUP
1. Set toggle switch for Zone 1 and Zone 2 to manual
mode (Man). The toggle switch light will change
from green (Auto) to red (Manual).
NOTE: To optimize light performance, the
Versillum includes 3 types of waveform curves for
lights. They are called (T), (L), and (C) curves. The
most commonly used waveform is (T) and is the
factory default setting. If the lights are flickering,
you may need to change the waveform curve by
setting the DIP switches located on the back of the
cover plate. Refer to Wiring Diagram for settings.
2. Turn the knob clockwise until the light is at 100%,
then slowly turn the knob counterclockwise
and make sure the lights dim properly without
flickering at any of the percentage points. If the
lights do not flicker, go to Step 8.
3. If the lights do not dim properly, try waveform
curve (L) by setting the DIP switches.
4. Repeat Step 2.
5. If the lights do not dim properly, try waveform
curve (C) by setting the DIP switches.
6. Repeat Step 2.
7.
Contact technical support for more help if lights
still do not dim properly.
8. Set the Min. and Max. Intensity:
Minimal Intensity = All lights are ON at their
lowest intensity.
Maximum Intensity = The lowest voltage where
lights are ON at full intensity.
a. Press and hold the Set button (1) for 7 seconds.
b. Make sure the toggle switch (2) is set to manual
for the Zone you want to change.
NOTE: The knob (3) will not work unless the
switch is in the Manual position.
c. Use the knob (3) to increase or decrease the
value.
d. Press the Set button (1) to accept the new value
or the Scenario button (5) to cancel.

5 - BASIC OPERATION
1.
To adjust light intensity manually, place the
switch of the corresponding Zone to the (Man)
position and turn the knob.
2.
To adjust light intensity automatically, place the
switch of the corresponding Zone to the (Auto)
position and set the 0-10V output from the
master controller.
Refer to the user manual to configure the light type
control, the Min. and Max. intensity, the skipped
points, to merge the 0-10V inputs on Zone 1, and to
merge the knob control.
