The base station can be placed on a table top or attached to a
sunshield. To ensure readability, the LCD display reading can be
shown upside down or mirrored.
•
Change the display reading by pressing and holding the volume
down button [7] for ±3s. The status indicator [A3] flashes red
1x for normal (desktop) display, 2x for mirrored (deployed
sunshield) and 3x for upside down (stowed sunshield).
8. Charging
•
When the display shows LO and beeps are heard, the internal
battery needs charging.
•
Connect the 5VDC plug of the included cable to the DC jack [D]
of the base station and plug the other side into the included car
cigarette lighter plug (or other USB power source). Plug the
cigarette lighter plug into a cars DC output socket.
•
The charging indicator [F] turns on red during charging; it turns
green when charging is completed (±3h). During charging, the
car kit can be used normally.
•
Note that the ear device can be charged separately via the
included USB cable. Connect the USB mini-B connector of the
cable to the USB connector of the ear device [A1] and the other
side to a 5VDC USB power source. The status indicator [A3]
turns red during charging; it turns green when charging is
completed.
9. Batteries
•
The BTSP2 contains built-in Lithium batteries. When the device is
end-of-life, have these batteries removed by a qualified person
and dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.
