Cutting blade blunt
Cutting blade obstructed
Blade fitted in incorrect direction
of rotation
Debris build up on cutting head
Low battery capacity
Battery not fully charged
Battery too hot/cold
Grass too high/dense
Damaged thread on nut/shaft
Locking pin not located correctly
Cutting blade obstructed
Blade nut loose
Low battery charge
Grass too high/dense
Battery too hot/cold
Motor protector has activated

Corrective Action
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every time
Flip/replace blade
Check underneath the machine and clear out as
necessary (always wear protective gloves)
Re-fit blade correctly (only 8T and saw blades)
Clean slip plate groove
Ensure battery is fully charged before use
Check battery display – charge battery if necessary
Allow battery to cool down/warm up – check battery
display
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every time
Lubricate shaft to aid removal
Reinsert locking pin and apply light pressure whilst
rotating shaft (see figure 5 of illustrations)
Check underneath the machine and clear out as
necessary (always wear protective gloves)
Tighten nut bolt to 20 Nm ensuring the blade, nut
shield and dome washer are all present and central
(always wear protective gloves) (see figure 5 of
illustrations)
Check the charge remaining in the battery – shown
on the battery display
Grass too high: Cut in stages
Grass too dense: Reduce rate of cutting every time
Allow battery to cool down/warm up – check battery
display
Allow motor/electronics to cool for 5 minutes and cut
in stages
Clean inside of cutting guard
Flip/replace blade
Bump head to expose more line
Replenish line (see figure 7 of illustrations)
Remove cutting system and slip plate and clean slip
plate groove
