Jou Jye Turbo CPU fan
Item no. 97 62 95
1.
Intended use
This turbo CPU fan is designed for mounting on a heat sink (not included in delivery). The heat sink dissipates
heat directly from the CPU of a computer. The heat sink's waste heat is then dissipated by the air flow of the
turbo fan. This product can also be used as a housing fan.
For safety and approval purposes (CE), you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use the product
for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged. In addition, improper use can
cause hazards such as short circuiting, fire, electric shock etc. Read the instructions carefully and keep them.
Make this product available to third parties only together with its operating instructions.

functioning of the fan (for example, by inserting external objects).
Make sure that no cables etc. can get into the fan. Use cable fasteners, for example.
The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. These may become dangerous playing material
for children.
Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high humidity, moisture,
flammable gases, vapours and solvents.
Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and protect it from any
accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the product:
-

Miscellaneous
Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the device.
Maintenance, modifications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an expert or at a qualified
shop.
If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions, contact our technical
support service or other technical personnel.
4.
Installation
Before installing the CPU cooling element, make sure to turn off the computer, switch off
the main switch on the back of the power supply unit and unplug the mains plug. Since
voltage is present even when the computer is switched off, there is a risk of electric shock
when touching electric components inside.
If you do not possess expertise for installing this cooler, leave the task of assembly to a trained
technician, or technical workshop. This will be cheaper than damaged or destroyed components
of your motherboard.
Ground yourself with a grounding mat or anti-static wristbands to prevent electrical static discharge (ESD)
from your body and clothes during installation. Integrated circuits are sensitive to electrical static. They can be
damaged or destroyed if ESD occurred.
Installation on the heat sink
1.
Ensure that your CPU cooler is suitable for a 12-cm fan.
2.
If the heat sink is already installed, leave it to cool down before starting the installation.
3.
Use the fan retainer clip from your CPU cooler to fasten the fan.
Installation as a housing fan
Using the screws included in delivery, fasten the fan to the respective mounts of your housing.
