GENERAL PRINCIPLES and COMPATIBILITY
SpeedFun RIBELLE-OLI is the electronic and intelligent speed release device that shows real data on the display of the E-Bike powered by Oli-
Move and Oli-Sport even with speed release activated.
The installation of RIBELLE-OLI must be performed by competent personnel.
The device must be protected from water. Water damage is not covered by warranty.
For the correct operation of the Ribelle device it is necessary, after installation, to carry out the procedure of learning as well as other parameters
that the device performs automatically.
1.1 ACTIVATION AND DEACTIVATION OF THE SPEED RELEASE
Activation and deactivation of the speed release is obtained by typing the following sequence of keys on the handlebar control:
-, +, -, + (arrows down-up-down-up)
To confirm activation, the figure 50 appears on the display (the motor assists up to over 50 KmH)
To confirm the deactivation, the number 25 appears on the display (the motor assists up to 25 KmH)
Activation and deactivation are obtained even if the vehicle is moving.
2.1 LEARNING AND CALIBRATION
During this phase the device stores all the parameters of the ebike on which it is mounted and calibrates for the correct calculation of speed and
distances. It also collects the mileage already traveled and displays it on the display, otherwise, it would start counting from zero.
- Select the assistance level on 1
- Enter the sequence + - (up down) eight times until the 99.9 digit is shown on the display.
- Drive about two kilometers on the road. Each turn of the wheel will reduce the figure shown on the display by one decimal until it reaches zero. At
this point the calibration will be completed.
- If you wish to interrupt the calibration, you must turn off the bicycle before reaching zero.
- During the calibration phase the engine is limited to 25 kmH.
3.1 REBEL FIRMWARE VERSION READING.
The firmware version of Ribelle is shown briefly on the display each time the ebike is turned on.
At the time of writing this document, the most recent version is 0.5.
