OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
c) Do not overload your trimmer. Make small
passes in a semi-circular arc (see Fig L),
especially when cutting long grass. This will
keep the machine operating at a high speed and
will greatly improve the cutting efficiency of the
trimmer (see Fig. M and N).
When cutting near fences, walls, flower beds,
Fig T
etc. use the edge of the guard as a guide – this
will save damage to structures and plants (see
Fig U
Fig. O and P).
2. Line Feeding
The trimmer uses 0.065" (1.65mm) diameter,
round nylon line to cut grass and weeds quickly
and easily. During use, the tip of the nylon line
will get shorter due to wear. Gently bump the
Fig V
unit on the ground and the line will feed out. The
cutting line will wear faster and require more
feeding if the cutting or edging is done along
sidewalks or other abrasive surfaces or when
heavier weeds are being cut.
