2. Proper use
This electric overblanket/electric cape is designed to warm up the human
body. It may only be used as an electric overblanket or electric cape and
not as an underlay. The electric overblanket is shaped so that it can be
worn as a cape. The dark surface of the overblanket/cape must face to-
wards the body. The electric cape can be closed using poppers at the front.
There are also further poppers in the area of each arm to ensure a better fit
to the body (see image).
This electric overblanket/electric cape is not designed for use in hospitals
or commercial use. The following groups in particular must not use the de-
vice: infants, small children, vulnerable persons, persons with low sensitivity
to heat or animals.
3. Operation
3.1. Safety
This electric blanket is equipped with a SAFETY SYSTEM. The electronic sensor technology prevents
overheating of the electric blanket over its entire surface with an automatic reduction of the tempera-
ture or with automatic switch-off if a fault occurs. If the electric blanket is automatically switched off
by the safety system due to a fault, then the signal lamp no longer lights up, even when the electric
blanket is switched on. Please note that the electric blanket can no longer be operated if a fault
occurs for safety reasons, and must be sent in to the specified service address.
3.2 Selecting temperature
To operate the the device, first connect the switch to the electric blanket by plugging in the connec-
tor. Plug the power cord into the mains outlet.
The electric blanket heats up most quickly when you initially set the highest temperature level. We
recommend than selecting the lowest temperature level when using the blanket for several hours.
3.3 Temperature settings
Level:
0 = Off
1 = Minimum heat
2–5 = Individual heat
6 = Maximum heat
3.4 Automatic switch-off function
The electric blanket is automatically switched off after approx.180 minutes. To switch on the electric
blanket again, first select the position „0", and then after approximately 5 seconds the desired
temperature level. The power indicator lamp flashes or
remains on even after switching off (depending on the
model).
4. cleaning and care
• Always disconnect the power plug from the socket
outlet before cleaning the electric blanket.
• Before washing, first remove the plug-in connection, and
with it the switch, from the electric blanket (see illustrati-
