5 Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the power supply voltage and
current rating corresponds with the power supply details shown on the appliance rating label.
5 The warming drawer may only be built in combination with those appliances quoted by the
manufacturer as being suitable. The manufacturer cannot guarantee trouble - free operation if the
appliance is operated in combination with appliances other than those quoted by the manufacturer
as suitable.
5 When building in the warming drawer in combination with another suitable appliance, the food
warming drawer must be fitted above a fixed interim shelf in the housing unit. Please ensure that
the housing unit can support both its weight and that of the other appliance.
5 When building in the combination appliance, it is essential to follow the instructions given in the
operating and installation instructions supplied with the combination appliance.
5 You could burn yourself on the hot drawer or crockery. Protect your hands with heat-resistant pot
holders or gloves when using the appliance. Do not let them get wet or damp, as this causes heat
to transfer through the material more quickly with the risk of scalding or burning yourself.
5 The underside of the drawer gets hot when switched on. Be careful not to touch it when the drawer
is open.
5 Do not use plastic or aluminium containers. These melt at high temperatures and could catch fire.
5 Use only heat-resistant crockery made of glass, porcelain, etc
5 Take care when opening and closing the loaded drawer, that liquids do not spill over and get
through the vents. This can cause the appliance to short circuit.
5 Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. In case of malfunction,
repairs are to be conducted by qualified personnel only.
5 To avoid damaging the cord, do not squeeze, bend or chafe it on sharp edges. Keep it away from
hot surfaces and open flames.
5 Lay out the cord in such a way that no unintentional pulling or tripping over it is possible. Keep the
appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
5 Do not operate the appliance with wet hands or while standing on a wet floor.
5 Always turn the appliance off before disconnecting it from the power supply.
5 Disconnect the appliance from the power supply when not in use and before cleaning.
5 WARNING: This appliance is supplied with a three core supply cord and must be connected direct
to the mains electricity supply via a omni-polar or double pole switch having a 3mm minimum
contact gap on each connector.
5 The fused spur should be installed in an easily reachable place so that in case of emergency the
appliance can be disconnected from power immediately.
5 The fixed wiring must be protected against heat surfaces.
5 A steam cleaner is not to be used.
