Bending — Handle Up
1. Mark the conduit.
2. Insert the conduit into the bender so that the arrow is aligned
with the bending mark.
3. Place one foot on the bender as illustrated. Use heavy foot
pressure on the bending shoe; maintain this pressure
throughout the bend.
4. Look down the line of sight as illustrated. Stop bending when
the pin is in line with the appropriate angle mark.
Note: Overbend rigid conduit slightly to compensate
for springback.
