10. Always provide the supervision necessary for the continued safety of
your child. When used for playing, never leave child unattended.
11. Never use plastic shipping bags or other plastic film as mattress covers
not sold and intended for that purpose. They can cause suffocation.
12. To reduce the risk of SIDS, pediatricians recommend healthy infants
be placed on their backs to sleep, unless otherwise advised by your
physician.
13. FALL HAZARD: To prevent falls, do not use this bassinet inlay when the
infant begins to push up on hands and knees or has reached 9 kg (20lb),
whichever comes first.
14. FALL HAZARD: Always check that the bassinet inlay is securely locked
on the base/stand by pressing downwards on bassinet inlay mattress bed.
15. If a sheet is used with the pad, use only the one provided by Bugaboo or
one specifically designed to fit the dimensions of the bassinet or cradle
mattress.
16. Follow the assembly of the folding cot in the order shown in this user
guide .
17. WARNING: Ensure that all fastening devices are secured, tightened and
maintained.
18. WARNING: Entrapment hazard - Velcro and zippers must be secured
properly per user instructions.
19. The product including side rails must be fully erected prior to use. The
bassinet should be removed before the child can sit up.
20. Make sure latches are secure.
21. Child can become entrapped and die when improvised netting or
covers are placed on top of product. Never add such items to confine
child in product.
22. When child is able to pull to standing position, remove large toys, and
other objects that could serve as steps for climbing out. Do not use
bumper pads.
23. Never place product near a window where cords from blinds or drapes
can strangle a child.
24. Use only the mattress supplied by the manufacturer which must be at
least 91 cm/35.8 in long by 51 cm/20.1 in wide and not more than 3.5
cm/1.4 in thick.
25. Incorrect mattress can cause death.
26. Keep children away while assembling/disassembling the cot.
27. Do not use the folding cot near naked heat sources, bar heaters, open fires
or exposed flames.
28. Keep the folding cot clear of trailing cables and hanging cords.
29. Keep medication and small items that a child could choke on, away from
the cot.
30. Do not use the folding cot if padded rims have been bitten through.
31. The product is suitable for children from 0-2 years of age, until the child
reaches 89 cm/35 in or 15 kg/33 lb, whichever comes first. Discontinue
use of the product when child is able to climb out or reaches the
height of 89 cm/35 in.
32. The bassinet inlay for the cot is suitable from birth until 9 kg/20 lb, or when
the child begins to push up on hands and knees, whichever comes first.
33. Only use the mattress sold with this cot, do not add a second mattress on
this one, suffocation hazards.
