• Do not write on CDs or apply any labels/stickers.
• Store your CDs in a CD case after use.
• Do not expose CDs to direct sunlight, heat or humidity.
n) Recording/copying audio
Recording audio from the radio, turntable, cassette deck or external audio source.
• Switch to the desired mode (radio, turntable, audio cassette, or auxiliary mode).
• Insert a USB storage device with sufficient storage space into the USB port (4).
• Press the REC./DEL. button (18). The turntable will read the storage device and recording will start automatically
after 5–10 seconds. Recordings are made in real time.
The turntable automatically creates a "RECORD" folder containing individual folders for each audio source.
• To end the recording, press the
abbreviation of the selected audio source. Playback from the radio, audio cassette, record, or external audio source
will continue.
Recordings are made in MP3 format with a bitrate of 128 kbit/s.
The reception frequency cannot be changed during a radio recording.
The storage device may take a few seconds to respond to button commands. The length of this
delay depends on the size and responsiveness of the storage device. "READING" or "WAITING" will
be displayed during this time.
Creating separate tracks during analogue audio recordings
When you record audio from an analogue audio source, only one track will be created. If you wish to create separate
tracks for each song, you can select tracks manually or use the automatic track recognition feature.
Manual track selection:
• During the recording, press the MODE/CLK button (14) when you want to start a new track. "TS" will be displayed
and a new track will be created.
Recording will pause briefly while the new track is being created. If there is a very short pause between
songs, the beginning of the new song may not be recorded.
Automatic track selection:
This feature is only available when you record audio from the record player or an external audio source.
• Select the audio source and press the MODE/CLK button (14) to enable automatic track selection.
• "T-ON" will be displayed.
• Press the MODE/CLK button (14) again to disable automatic track creation. "T-OF" will be displayed.
• Press the REC./DEL. button (18) to start recording.
• A new track will be created automatically when the system detects a gap between songs.
