INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLATION

1) Ensure that all taps are turned off on the gas appliance and on the regulator (turn clockwise towards (-)).
2) Attach the hose to the regulator and to the gas appliance respectively.
The hose is equipped with ¼ " left hand threads and can be threaded directly onto the regulator
and the gas inlet connection on the gas appliance. Hand tight plus ¼ of a turn.
3) Thread the gas cartridge onto the regulator. Hand tight only.
4) Open tap fully on the regulator (turn anticlockwise towards (+)).
• When the regulator is to be used outdoors, it shall be positioned or protected against direct penetration
by any trickling water.
• Check that seals (between the regulator and the gas cartridge) are in place and in good condition before
connecting to the gas cartridge.
• Inspect seal before using the regulator
• Check for leaks at all joints using soapy water.
NEVER USE A NAKED FLAME TO CHECK FOR LEAKS.
• Do not use the regulator if it has damaged or worn seals.
• Do not use a regulator which is leaking, damaged or which does not operate properly.
