Override mode:
If there is no battery mounted on the engine to be started, connect as shown below:
1. Long press ON/OFF (2 seconds and release). The back-up lithium battery will start to recharge the Ultracapacitors.
2. After digital display shows FUL, long press ON/OFF again (2 seconds and release).
3. After condition indicator is steady green, turn on engine.
The ability for an engine to continue to run without a battery connected will vary, depending on the make and model of the
vehicle.
WARNING - Do not leave the engine running without the Hybrid Booster or the battery being connected. Failure to comply
could result in damage to the vehicle ECU. The manufacturer will not accept responsibility for any damage caused by incorrect
use of this product.
As soon as the engine runs, fix the positive and negative cables from the engine to the battery terminals and tighten the
connectors while keeping the Hybrid Booster claws and the engine cables connected. After having secured the positive and
negative cables to the battery terminals, switch off the Hybrid Booster and disconnect from the battery.
Glow Mode:
In cold weather, the glow plugs in most diesel vehicles will energize first to heat up the engine chamber before the engine start,
as indicated by the GLOW sign on the dashboard. The process takes about 4-6 seconds. In this case, after the Hybrid Booster is
fully recharged and connected, press the GLOW button, and then turn on the ignition.
NOTE: GLOW is inactive under Override mode.
Lithium Back-up Battery Pack:
This jump starter is equipped with a lithium battery pack. Recharge the battery pack with any micro USB charger.
Once Micro USB charger is connected, press ON/OFF button to start the charge.
Battery pack specification: 11.1V 2200mAh
Recharge time: 5-8 hours
To check the charging level of the lithium battery, press ON/OFF, indicators will show battery status.
Fully recharge lithium battery pack at least once a year.
Contact your distributor for battery pack replacement.
Working cycle:
Maximum 3 jump starting operations in a row.
Allow a 20-minute interval between each session.
