Please read these Operating Instructions through carefully before connecting your device to the mains, in order to
avoid damage due to incorrect use. Please pay particular attention to the safety information. If you pass the device
on to a third party, these Operating Instructions must also be handed over.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using your new stick blender, read the instructions in this booklet. Find a place to keep this booklet handy
for future reference.
Make sure that the operating voltage indicated on the appliance is the same as supply voltage in your home.
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including:
1. To protect against the risk of electric shock, do not immerse any part of this appliance into water or any other
liquid.
2. Never leave the appliance unattended when in use. This appliance is not intended for use by children or
disabled person without supervision.
3. Unplug from outlet while not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning.
4. Do not let the cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including the stove.
5. Do not use this appliance outdoors or for commercial purposes. This unit is intended for household use only.
6. Do not allow the power cable to hang down within reach of children.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or if is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
8. The use of attachments or accessories not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
9. Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the appliance. There are no user serviceable parts.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) when reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
11. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
12. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified
person in order to avoid a hazard.
13. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
14. Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
15. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in
shops, offices and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels, motels and other residential
type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
16. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or
cleaning.
17. Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision.
18. The machine should not be operated by means of an external timer‐switch or by means of a separate system
with remote control.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Carefully unpack the hand mixer and remove all packaging material.
2. Clean the various accessories of your appliance in warm soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before use.
