Note
During installation, the adapter must be used as a straight-pipe length between the shutoff valve and the
flowmeter. Observe the arrow marking on the flowmeter indication the correct direction of flow. Use only a
sealing compound appropriate for the pipe diameter, so that the water will flow without any additional
turbulence. Only by observing these instructions can the flowmeter provide the correct values.
Disconnect the machine from the electrical supply and the gas supply (if required) and secure against
resetting.
Connect the flowmeter to a 1-inch shutoff valve, with the reduction socket, pipe nipple and restrictor fitting.
See Fig. 1 .
Connect the water intake hose to the flowmeter.
Remove the electrical connection cover on the rear of the machine.
Electrically connect the flowmeter in accordance with the MF 07 wiring diagram.
Replace the electrical connection cover on the rear of the machine.
Check the newly installed parts for leaks (at the water connection).
Test for correct function.
Reconnect the machine to the electrical supply and the gas supply (if applicable).
Register the MF 07 module via the service mode (procedure may vary depending on software ID).
Example: Service Settings Register module MFM with code 7 Diskette symbol (to save the
registration). Or: Service Settings Register module EZL with code 7 Register
module? OK Diskette symbol (to save the registration).
Activate flow measurement for the applicable flowmeter (number 1, in this example) via service mode:

To exit service mode, switch off the machine.
Perform a function test, e.g., by starting a wash program. The program should take in water via the appropriate
flowmeter. If no fault message appears in the display, then the flowmeter is functioning successfully.
