CONTROL PANEL

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

• Remove all packaging from the appliance.
• Unpack all parts and check for damage that may have occurred during
transport. If any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the appliance and
return it to your retail outlet immediately.
• Clean the appliance before first use (see CLEANING AND CARE).
• The blender may smoke a little and release a slight odor during the first use. This
is normal and does not indicate that the appliance is faulty.
USING THE POWER BLENDER
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR BLENDER / SOUP MAKER
• For cold preset programs, do not exceed the maximum 1750mL/56oz MAX
marking.
• For hot preset programs, do not exceed the 1400mL/48oz marking.
• The six pre-programmed buttons let you prepare cold drinks or hot soups with
the touch of a button. The blending time and speed are preset for convenience.
• CAUTION - Always remove any hard shells or bones from food before adding it
to the jug.
