Please note:
The IP address of the print server should not be changed after the printer is installed. If your
router assigns the server a new address after restart, reserve the address it had after confi gura-
tion for the server in the router.
• Click the button "Next" to save.
• Now an overview with the settings made is displayed. Clicking "Next" saves the settings in the server.
• Now the printer is installed. To add the printer, click the button "Add New Printer".
• Then the Windows confi guration programme opens. You can add a printer in it.
• Select "Add a local printer".
• Leave the selection set to "Use an existing port" and then select "LTP1" in the menu to the right.
• Select the printer and click "Next". Alternatively, you may also add the driver via Windows update or a data
carrier.
Observe that the search via Windows Update takes a while.
• Now enter a name for the new printer and click "Next" again. The printer is now installed in Windows.
• Skip the prompt for printing a test page and click "Finish".
• Now the freshly installed printer must be displayed in the list in the "Setup Wizard". Click on "Next".
• The setup programme performs the rest of the confi guration and shows an overview of the printer and the
new printer port.
• Finally, click "Next" and then "Finish".
Resetting to Print Server to Factory Settings
• Disconnect the print server from the power supply.
• There is a recessed "Reset" button at the right side of the housing.
• Keep this button pressed for 3 to 5 seconds. Connect the print server to the voltage supply again while
keeping the button pushed. Keep the button pushed for another 3 seconds before releasing it again.
• The server restarts and is then reset to factory settings.
Tips and Information
• If you want to add the printer to another computer, install the setup programme here as well and execute
the "Setup Wizard".
The WLAN and LAN settings do not need to be reconfi gured in this case.
• The print server has a web interface. You may set, e.g, the password there or log on the server to your
WLAN subsequently. You can reach it by entering the IP address of the server in the address line of your
web browser and confi rming with Enter.
Please note:
If you have changed the IP-address during confi guration, you need to enter the changed
address in the web browser accordingly.
If you have assigned a password during confi guration, log on to the web interface with the user
name "admin" (without quotes) and the password you have chosen.
• If special setting are not described in the instructions, observe the English manufacturer's manual.
• Except for the two options explained here for integrating the print-server in your network, there is the option
of establishing a wireless connection (ad-hoc) to the print server by WLAN. Observe the English manual
of the manufacturer to confi gure this.
• The print server unfortunately does not support a GDI printer. Only the print function is supported in multi-
functional devices.
• WLAN network connections should always be encrypted to prevent unauthorised access, e.g. to your
WLAN router. You should mainly use the encryption type "WPA2" instead of "WPA" or "WEP", since "WPA"
and "WEP" are no longer suffi ciently safe against attacks.

Maintenance and Cleaning

The product does not require any maintenance, never take it apart.
Remove all connected cables and the plug-in mains adapter before cleaning (all network connections are
without function because of this).
Only use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. Never use any aggressive cleaning agents. They may cause discolora-
tion. Do not push the surface too much when cleaning to avoid scratches.
Disposal
Electric and electronic products must not be disposed of in the domestic waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
