Initial operation and settings
Turn the device on or off
Press the / A1 / button to turn on. Long press / A5 /
button turns off, automatic shutdown without opera-
tion is 45s.
Delete button,
Press CLEAR / A5 / to cancel the last instruction or
clear the display.
Position of the measuring reference edge
Press / A4 / to select the measurement reference
point. The system offers two reference points
Long press / A3 / (+, - UNIT), change the distance
units until the desired units are displayed: m, in, ft, ft
+ in.
Measurement
Individual distance measurement
Press the / A1 / button to turn on the cable and then
press the / A1 / button to take one measurement.
When the measurement is completed, the laser
turns off and the measurement result appears on
the display. Continuous measurement (maximum /
minimum).
Press and hold / A1 / to switch to continuous mea-
surement mode. Then the real-time measurement
data is displayed on the main line of the display and
the maximum and minimum measurement values
during the measurement are displayed on the auxi-
liary display.
In continuous measurement mode, briefly press the
/ A1 or / A5 / button to stop the continuous measure-
ment mode. The continuous measurement function
stops automatically after 100 measurements.
Plus / Minus function
PLUS: Briefly press the / A3 / button, the plus number
will light up on the first line of the display. The next
measured value will be plus.
MINUS: Briefly press the / A3 / button again, the mi-
nus number will light up on the first line of the display.
The next measured value will be negative.
AREA functions
Press the / A2 / button once and the area symbol will
appear on the display, which means that the instru-
ment has entered the area measurement mode. Fol-
low the instructions to complete the following steps.
When the long side symbol of the rectangle is
flashing, press / A1 / to measure the long side of the
rectangle. When the short side symbol of the rec-
tangle is flashing, press / A1 / to measure the width.
The device automatically calculates the area and the
result of the calculation is displayed in the main area
of the display. The results of the measured length
and width are displayed in the auxiliary areas of the
display.
VOLUME function
Press the / A2 / button twice and the display will
show the volume symbol, which means that you have
entered the volume measurement mode. Follow the
instructions to complete the following steps:
When the long side of the cube symbol is flashing,
press / A1 / to measure the long side of the cube.
When the cube width symbol is flashing, press / A1 /
to measure the cube width.
When the cube height symbol is flashing, press / A1 /
to measure the cube height.
The device automatically calculates the volume and
the result of the calculation is shown on the main
display. The results of length, width, and height mea-
surements are displayed on the auxiliary displays
Indirect measurement
Press the / A2 / button 3 times and the triangle
icon will appear on the display. Make the first mea-
surement with respect to the flashing edge and the
measured distance will appear on the first line of the
display, keep the device on a horizontal surface. By
default, the instrument is set to horizontal measure-
ment and the second measurement is performed with
respect to the flashing edge. The measured distance
is displayed on the second line of the display, the
distance calculated on the third page is displayed on
the main line of the display.
Press the / A2 / button 3 times and the icon will ap-
pear on the display. Make the first measurement with
respect to the flashing edge and the measured dis-
tance will appear on the first line of the display, keep
the device on a horizontal surface. By default, the
instrument is set to horizontal measurement and the
second measurement is performed with respect to the
flashing edge. The measured distance is displayed on
the second line of the display, the distance calculated
on the third page is displayed on the main line of the
display.

Insert a new battery

Increase the meter temperature
t.h The temperature is too high
Lower the meter temperature

Perform the measurement again
S.L The signal is too weak
Measure the target position with a strong reflex ability
or use target aiming
S.H The signal is too strong
Measure the target position with poor reflex ability or
use target aiming
H.F Bad hardware
Restarts the meter. If repeating the power & repeated
several times does not solve the problem, contact
your local dealer.
Maintenance
It is forbidden to put the device in water. Use a damp
and soft cloth to remove dust. Do not use erosive
solutions. Clean the surface of the optical part (inclu-
ding the laser beam and the signal-receiving lens)
