Troubleshooting
Malfunction
The light does not turn on.
The light does not turn off.
The sensor reacts without any identi-
fiable movement
The sensor will not work despite

The sensor does not work as desired The settings are incorrect
Basic settings of the sensor:

Mains switch OFF
Contact issues in the wiring
Wrong light-control setting selected
Sensor malfunction
Continuous movement in the detec-
tion zone
Movement occurred, but not identi-
fied by the sensor(movement behind
wall, movement of a small object in
immediate lamp vicinity etc.)
Rapid movements are being suppres-
sed to minimize malfunctioning
The detection zone you have set is
too small
The assembly position is not optimal
Remedy
Switch ON
Release the connections and con-
nect them again firmly
Adjust setting.
Disconnect the sensor from the sup-
ply, plug it in again after 3s
Check reach setting
Check reach setting
Check the alignment and recording
range of the sensor
Check reach setting.
Check reach setting.
Set the controller to the basic setting
again (see below)
