WARNING! Before use check that the child restraint is compatible for use in your
car by referring to the vehicle handbook.
WARNING! Do not use Child Restraint System in seating positions where there is an
active frontal airbag installed. DEATH or SERIOUS injury can occur.
WARNING! Rigid items and plastic parts of the child restraint must be positioned
and installed so that they do not, under normal everyday use of the vehicle, become
trapped by a movable seat or in a door of the vehicle.
WARNING! Only suitable if the approved vehicles are fitted with 3 point
safety-belts, approved to UN/ECE Regulation No. 16 or other equivalent standards.
IMPORTANT - DO NOT USE FORWARD FACING BEFORE THE CHILD'S WEIGHT
EXCEEDS 9KG.
WARNING! Always ensure that the lap strap is worn low down, so that the pelvis is
firmly engaged, should be stressed.
- Always ensure the straps holding the restraint to the vehicle should be tight.
- Ensure the straps restraining the child should be adjusted to the child's body, and that
straps should not be twisted or kinked.
WARNING! Your child restraint should be replaced when it has been subjected to
violent stresses in an accident. Although it may appear undamaged, if you were to have
another accident it may not protect your child as well as it should.
WARNING! No alterations or additions to the device without the approval of the Type
Approval Authority may be made to the child restraint, as this could e ect the overall
safety of the seat.
WARNING! Your child's safety may be a ected if you do not follow closely the installa-
tion instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer or retailer.
WARNING! The chair should be kept away from sunlight, otherwise it maybe too hot for
the child's skin.
WARNING! Never leave your child unattended in the seat, either in or out of the car.
WARNING! Ensure that all luggage/objects, on the parcel shelf for instance, likely to
cause injury in the event of an accident are properly secured.
WARNING! The Child Restraint System shall not be used without the cover. Always use
an ORIGINAL cover, as the cover contributes to the safety of the seat.
WARNING! The Child Restraint System cover should not be replaced with any other
than the one recommended by the manufacturer or retailer, because the cover consti-
tutes an integral part of the restraint performance.
WARNING! Do not use any load-bearing contact point other than those described in
the instruction and marked on the restraint system. If in doubts, consult either the child
restraint manufacturer or the retailer.
