full battery power. Li-ion batteries can be
charged at any time without adversely affecting
their service life. Interruption of the charging
process will not damage the battery.
· Never charge the battery pack (2) (16) when
the ambient temperature is below 10°C or
above 40°C. If a lithium-ion battery is to be
stored for an extended period, the charge level
should be checked regularly. The optimum
charge level is between 50% and 80%. The
storage climate should be cool and dry and
the ambient temperature should be between
0°C and 50°C.
· Insert the battery pack (2) (16) into the high-
speed charger (31) .
· Insert the power plug into the socket. The
control LED (32) lights up red to indicate that the
appliance is charging.
· The green control LED (33) indicates that the
charging process is complete and the battery
pack (2) (16) is ready for use.
· Push the battery pack (2) (16)back onto the
appliance.
· Switch off the charger for at least 15 minutes
between successive charging sessions. Also
disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket.

Inserting the battery pack:
· Allow the battery pack (2) (16) to click into the
handle.
Removing the battery pack:
· Press the release button (5) (19) and remove the
battery pack (2) (16) .
Checking the battery charge level:
· Press the battery charge level button(3) (17) to
check the battery charge level.
The status/remaining charge will be shown on
the battery display LED (4) (18) as follows:
RED/ORANGE/GREEN = maximum charge
RED/ORANGE = medium charge
RED = low charge – charge the battery
Operating the cordless air pump
This appliance is not designed for continuous
operation. The appliance may be used for a
maximum of 20 minutes of continuous operation.
If the appliance overheats, remove the battery
pack (2). Allow the appliance to cool down
completely and then try using it again.
Inflation
· Remove the valve cap of the item you want to
inflate.
· Fit the appropriate adapter (9), (10) or (11) onto
the pump air outlet (8).
· Push the adapter (9), (10) or (11) into the valve
of the item to be inflated.
·Switch the appliance on by pressing the ON/
OFF switch (6).
· Once the desired level of inflation has been
reached, switch off the appliance by releasing
the ON/OFF switch (6).
· Now remove the adapter (9), (10) or (11).
· Replace the valve cap on the item that you have
inflated.
Deflation
· Fit the appropriate adapter (9), (10)
or (11) onto the pump air inlet (1).
· Remove the valve cap of the item you want to
deflate and push the adapter (9), (10) or (11)
into the valve of the item to be deflated.
· Switch the appliance on by pressing and
holding the ON/OFF switch (6).
· Once the item is fully deflated, switch off the
appliance by releasing the ON/OFF switch (6).
· Now remove the adapter (9), (10) or (11).
