Option 2 -Setup via WIFI with the BURGcam App
1. Tap on „Device Manager" -> „+" -> „Camera" -> „WIFI Device" -> „WIFI
Connection" to establish a connection between the camera and the
router via WIFI. (Fig 1)
2. Scan the QR code on the device nameplate. If necessary,
activate the smartphone light (flash button top right) to clearly scan
the QR code. (Fig 2).
3. Check the device serial number and tap „Next" (Fig. 3).
4. Enter your WIFI password and tap „Next".
Note:
a. Disable the 5GHz frequency band for the duration
of the setup.
b. Make sure that the smartphone is connected to the
same WIFI as the camera is to be connected to.
c. The router must be configured to allow devices to
communicate with each other within the network.
5. The camera is now connected to the network (Fig. 4).
Successful execution is displayed (Fig. 5).
The device was successfully added to the network. Continue
on page 45, „Assign device password".
