Trouble shooting
A fault is not always serious. Follow the trouble shooting chart below before calling for service.
Symptom
The test lamp on the telephone transmitter shines
weakly or not at all when the telephone rings.
The receiver does not give a signal when the tel-
ephone rings.

Procedure
Change the battery in the telephone transmitter.
Warning!
Only applicable for lithium batteries. Risk for explo-
sion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace
with the same or similar battery type recommended
by the manufacturer. Consumed batteries shall be
handed in according to the instructions of the bat-
tery manufacturer.
1. Check that the receiver's test lamp shines green
when the test button is pressed for a few seconds.
If it shines red this implies that the batteries in the
receiver need changing.
2. Check that the receiver is set to the same radio
channel as the telephone transmitter.
3. Move the telephone transmitter to another tel-
ephone jack.
