Troubleshooting
Follow the troubleshooting instructions below before calling for service.
Symptom
The lamp on the door transmitter shines red when
the door bell rings.
The door receiver does not receive a signal from the
door bell.
The lamp shines green when the door bell
rings but the receiver does not give a signal.
The door transmitter is activated although no one
has rung the door telephone or door bell.

Action
1. Change the battery in the door transmitter.
Warning!
Only applicable for lithium batteries. Risk for explo-
sion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace
with the same or similar battery type recommended
by the manufacturer. Consumed batteries shall be
handed in according to the instructions of the bat-
tery manufacturer.
1. Try holding the door transmitter in diff erent
positions while ringing the door bell to see if it
functions. You know that it functions when the lamp
on the door receiver shines green and the receiver
gives a signal.
2. If you have an electric door bell you can increase
the sensitivity of the door transmitter. This is done
by pushing up tone switch No. 3, which is under the
battery panel.
1. Check the batteries in the receiver and change
them if they are low.
2. Check that the door receiver and transmitter are
set to the same channel.
1. Change tone switch No. 4 for the tele-coil sensi-
tivity off . The tone switches are located under the
battery panel and there is a description of what each
switch is for on the battery panel.
