Installation:
1. It is recommended to place the T-Mini Pro on
a wall near the CO2 source, with a minimum
distance of 50cm. It is better to not place the
T-Mini directly over the CO2 source if the
source can reach very high temperatures
(CO2 generator).The T-Mini Pro must be
placed approximately 1 meter above the fl oor.
2. Mount the T-Mini Pro to the wall with the
supplied mountingkit or to a DIN-rail.
3. Plug the CO2 source into the outlet of the
T-Mini Pro.
4. Plug the T-Mini controller in to a 230V outlet.
5. Ready!
Connecting the controllers:
All of the TechGrow Pro Series controllers and
sensors (except for the Temp probe) are
connectable to each other to guarantee an
optimal climate. You can, for instance, connect the
T-Mini Pro to the Clima Control Pro.
The CO2 value is then indicated on the display of
the Clima Control Pro.
Since each device has 3 UTP connectors it is also
possible to connect for example, a Datalogger
DL-1 and/or an AM-T sms Notifi er.
Make sure that the controller is disabled before
you connect the sensor(s) to prevent any
disruptions. The sensor can be plugged into any
UTP connector. The regular TechGrow sensors
are the same as the sensors of the TechGrow Pro
Series and can therefore also be used for
controllers of the Pro Series.
Which sensors can be connected to the
T-Mini Pro?
The T-Mini has a built-in CO2- and light sensor.
If you connect a Temp/RH sensor, you will not see
this on the display.
A connected AM-T or DL-1 can read and/or save
these values.
If you connect a Temp/RH sensor, make sure
that the light sensor of the Temp/RH sensor is
switched off . To do this, see the sensor's manual.
Never connect a S-4 or S-2 sensor to the
T-Mini Pro.
Connecting extra sensors or other
devices:
The T-Mini Pro can measure, show and register
the CO2 value.
If you wish to connect a Temp/RH sensor to the
T-Mini Pro, fi rst switch off the controller, wait a few
seconds and then connect the sensor. Plug the
controller back into the outlet.
ATTENTION: NEVER connect two of the
same type of sensors to your controller!!
Automatic functions of the T-Mini Pro:
The backlight of the display will turn off
automatically after 60 seconds of no activity.
Only when the Push & Turn Button (PTB) is
pushed or turned, the backlight will turn on again.
No CO2 is emitted when it is dark. This is why
you should make sure that the sensor can directly
detect the light source.
Operating the T-Mini Pro:
When the CO2 value in the room drops below the
set value (set-point - hysteresis) the CO2 source
will be activated. After a while, the CO2 value will
rise and when it reaches the set value, the source
will be deactivated again.
Example:
The CO2 value is set at 670.
The CO2 +/- is set at 40.
The current CO2 value of the room is e.g. 733,
which is higher than the CO2 SET, so the CO2
source is turned off . The red light is now off .
The CO2 slowly starts to drop to 670: nothing
happens yet.
Only when the CO2 level drops below the CO2
set minus the CO2 +/-,
in this case 670 - 40 = 630, the CO2 source will
be turned on and the red light will light up.
The CO2 level will start to rise and when the value
of 670 has been reached, the CO2 source will turn
off again.
By adjusting the CO2 +/-, a calm and stable
atmosphere can be created.
The factory setting for the CO2 SET is 700, and
the CO2 +/- at 50.
