Read the complete user manual before carrying out the installation and activating the system. Keep
the manual for future reference.
1. DESCRIPTION
This is an adaptable and energy-efficient luminaire with a clean design. With its homogeneous lighting effect,
the lamp ensures superior lighting in all conditions. As the lamp is equipped with a built-in HF sensor, it only
switches on when necessary.
As soon as someone is detected, the light is switched on daylight-dependent. The lamp only switches on once
the set daylight condition (twilight level) is no longer reached and remains active as long as human movement
is detected (see Fig. 1a and Fig. 1b.).
This manual applies to the following lamp types:
352-02701
Colour
white
These lamp types are also available without the built-in HF sensor (see reference numbers 352-08964,
352-08965 and 352-08966).
2. USE
Suitable for landings, corridors, hallways and sanitary areas.
Please note that the HF sensor covers a different detection area with ceiling (see Fig. 1a) or wall mounting
(see Fig. 1b).
In case of outdoor use, take into account that the HF sensor registers all movements. Movements of hedges,
leaves, raindrops and snowflakes may cause the sensor to switch on incorrectly. It is not recommended to set
up the sensor close to a street. Passing vehicles up to 20 m away may activate the sensor.
The light source of this luminaire is not replaceable; when the light source reaches its end of life the whole
luminaire shall be replaced.
3. OPERATION
The HF movement sensor actively emits high-frequency electro-magnetic waves (5.8 GHz) and responds to
changes in the waves reflected by objects. If the sensor detects something, it switches on the light. After the
final detection, the sensor switches off the light after the switch-off delay (approx. 10 s to 5 min.) has lapsed.
The sensor can also detect movements through walls, doors and glass.
As the detection is the result of reflected waves (see Fig. 1c), the detection range changes according to the
mounting position. The speed and the type of object (a person, vehicle ...) strongly influence the detection range.
Before putting the lampshade back, check that the METER potentiometer (which determines the detection
range per metre) is set optimally.
By using the included protective metal brackets 351-27361 on either side, the sensor can be protected from
interference waves (see Fig. 8). Take this into account while mounting.
4. MOUNTING
1. Open the lamp as shown in Fig. 3.
2. Insert the power supply cable into the flexible membrane entry at the bottom of the base (see Fig. 4).
3. Mark the drill holes on the ceiling or wall and drill the holes the same size as the plugs provided.
4. Firmly press the plugs into the drill holes.
5. Attach the base against the ceiling or wall (see Fig. 4).
6. Connect the wires as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig. 6 (also see § 5).
7. Set the desired settings for the HF sensor (also see § 6).
8. Reattach the lampshade to the base and check that it is firmly in place (see Fig. 5).
5. WIRING
Connect the detector as shown in the wiring diagram in Fig. 6.

The connected phase L' can be used for parallel connection of up to one similar additional load. It is recommended
to pass additional load through an external relay. A N.C. push button (to be ordered separately) can be connected
to switch the lighting off or on, taking into account the set switch-off delay (see Fig. 6a). You can also choose
to connect a switch (to be ordered separately) with which you can switch lighting on permanently (see Fig. 6b).
When you turn off the switch, the detector resumes its normal operation.
6. CONFIGURATION
6.1. Light sensitivity
Using the LUX potentiometer, you can set the threshold value of the twilight switch continuously between ð
(daytime mode, 2000 lux) and ƒ (night mode, 5 lux) (see Fig. 7c). In automatic mode, the light is only switched
on once the set threshold value is reached.
6.2. Switch-off delay
Using the TIME potentiometer, the switch-off delay is set between ±5 s to 5 min. (see Fig. 7a). The switch-off
delay determines the length of time the light stays on after the final movement in the detection area.
6.3. Detection range
Using the METER potentiometer, the detection range of the detector is set (approx. 1 – 8 m diameter) (see Fig. 7b).
7. TROUBLESHOOTING
Malfunction
Solution
The light does not switch on.
• The threshold value has not been reached. Increase the light sensitivity
• Increase the detection range using the METER potentiometer.
• Check the lighting and the fuse.
The light switches on without
• The threshold value has been reached. Lower the light sensitivity
cause.
4
• Decrease the detection range using the METER potentiometer.
• Check the detection area for causes of incorrectly switching on
