• When not in use, turn off the power and unplug the appliance. Allow the appliance
to cool completely before cleaning and storing.
• Ensure that the power cable does not come into contact with parts of the appliance
that are hot.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is being used.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Therefore, wear heat-resistant gloves. Touch the appliance only on the heat-
insulated handles.
• Place the appliance on a stable, level and heat-resistant surface. Allow at least
20 cm of space around the appliance to walls and other equipment.
• Do not move the appliance after it has heated up and while it is in operation. Be
very careful when moving equipment with hot liquids.
• Boiling liquid could splash out if the water boiler is overfilled.
• After use, the surfaces of the heating element will still have some residual heat.
• Do not allow any liquid to run over the appliance connector.
• Ensure that the appliance, the power cable and the plug cannot come into contact
with sources of heat such as hot plates or open flames.
• Do not use an external timing switch or a separate remote control system to operate
the appliance.
• The appliance must not be cleaned using a water jet.
