PACKING CONTENT

The appliance is delivered with the following components as standard:
• Preserving boiler
• Preserving grill
• Lid
• Pouring tap

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION
Risk of burns! The unit becomes hot during use. Only touch the controls
and handles so that you do not burn yourself.
• Read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance for the fi rst
time and retain them for future reference. Pass these operating instructions for the
appliance on to any future owner(s).
• Before using the product, familiarise yourself with all operating and safety
instructions.
• Use the product only as described and for the range of applications specifi ed.
• This Preserving Cooker is suitable for:
- Preserving
- Heating and keeping drinks warm, and for their pouring
- Heating and keeping boiled sausages, or their like, warm
- Heating and keeping soups warm
• The appliance is intended for domestic use only, it is not suitable for commercial or
industrial applications.
• Use the appliance exclusively for its intended purposes.
• Check the appliance and the power cord regularly for damage. Do not use the unit
if the power cord or the appliance is damaged or has been dropped.
• To avoid risks, arrange for defective plugs and/or power cables to be replaced at
once by qualifi ed technicians or customer service.
• Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Repairs may only be carried out by
qualifi ed specialists. Incorrect and/or incompetent repairs can result in signifi cant
risks for the user.
• Defective components may only be replaced with original replacement parts.
• Do not use any accessories other than those supplied.
• Never completely immerse the appliance in water or other liquids, as this may
damage the electrical parts.
• Ensure that the base with the electrical connections never comes into contact with
water! If it has unintentionally come into contact with water, fi rst allow it to dry out
completely before taking it into use.
• Ensure that the power cable never becomes wet or damp during operation. Lay the
cable so that it cannot become trapped or damaged in any way.
