POWER SUPPLY REQUIREMENTS AND SETTINGS IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY BEFORE CONNECTING YOUR POWER SUPPLY TO THE AC MAINS FOR THE FIRST TIME. The available power supply for the VENICE 240 and 320 mixer is named EPS1200. Description All Venice consoles are equipped with an internal power supply. When a back-up supply or an external power supply for any reason is needed the EPS1200 is the unit of choice. - Page 4 Mains Voltage Selection These units are capable of operating over a wide range of AC mains supply voltages by means of a comprehensive set of user-selectable settings. It is important to ensure that the correct voltage setting has been selected for the level of local mains voltage supply for safe, uninterrupted operation of the units.
- Page 5 Recommendations for installation The power supply is designed for 19" rack-mounting and will occupy 2 RU of rack space. If necessary remove the rubber feet. For free-standing operation the rubber feet may be fitted. As with any other power supply that contains a large mains voltage transformer, it is preferable to provide a degree of physical isolation of the unit from other electronic equipment, particularly that which carries low level audio signals, to avoid any possible hum pick-up.

Auch wenn alle Venice-Mischpulte bereits mit einem internen Netzteil ausgerüstet sind, kommt das EPS1200 aus Havarie-, Back-up-, Redundanz- bzw.
- Page 10 Netzspannungswahl Das Gerät wurde werksseitig bereits auf die benötigte, bzw. gewünschte Netzspannung einge- stellt und mit der entsprechenden Netzsicherung ausgerüstet. Die werksseitige Einstellung kann anhand der Aufkleber (Netzsicherung und Netzspannung) überprüft werden. Eine kundenseitige Einstellung ist normalerweise nicht nötig. Das EPS1200 kann über die Netzspannungswahlschalter jedoch auf jede Netzspannung (welt- weit) modifiziert werden.
- Page 11 Einbauempfehlung Das Netzteil ist für die Montage in 19" Racks konzipiert und benötigt im Rack 2 Höheneinheiten (2 HE), falls notwendig, müssen die Gummifüße entfernen werden. Wie bei allen Netzteilen, die grössere Transformatoren enthalten, ist es empfehlenswert, diese Geräte so weit wie möglich entfernt von anderen elektronischen Geräten zu betreiben, vor allem bei solchen, die niederpe- gelige Audiosignale führen, um Brummeinstreuungen zu vermeiden.

ÉQUIPEMENT ET RÉGLAGES CONCERNANT L’ALIMENTATION IMPORTANT : VEUILLEZ LIRE ATTENTIVEMENT CE CHAPITRE AVANT DE RELIER L’ALIMENTATION AU SECTEUR POUR LA PREMIERE FOIS. L’alimentation adéquate pour la console VENICE 240 et 320 se nomme EPS1200. Description : Toutes les consoles Venice sont équipées d’une alimentation interne. Lorsqu’une alimentation de secours ou externe est nécessaire pour quelque raison que ce soit, l’EPS1200 est celle qu’il faut choisir. -

Sélection de la tension secteur UNE ATTENTION SPÉCIALE DOIT ETRE APPORTÉE AUX POINTS SUIVANTS : Ces unités peuvent fonctionner sur différentes tensions secteur grâce à un ensemble de réglages pouvant être établis par l’utilisateur. Il est important de veiller à ce que la tension correcte soit sélectionnée en fonction de la tension locale, ceci afin d’assurer un fonctionnement sûr et ininterrompu des différentes unités. - Page 17 Recommandations pour l’installation. Cette alimentation a été conçue pour être montée dans un rack 19" et occupera 2 unités de rack. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez enlever les pieds de caoutchouc. Pour un fonctionnement indépendant, les pieds de caoutchouc pourront être remis. Comme pour toute alimentation contenant un transformateur puissant, il est préférable de prévoir des conditions d’isolation suffisantes par rapport aux autres appareils électroniques, particulièrement ceux qui véhiculent des signaux audio de faible niveau, afin d’éviter l’émission de parasites.
