4) CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning
Before cleaning the device, always switch it OFF, disconnect it from the mains electricity
supply.
Cleaning the air filters
It is recommended to clean the air filter monthly when using the device.
Dust collets on the filters and restricts the airflow and reduces the efficiency and could even
cause damage to the device. The device has 1 air filter at the rear.
The air filter requires regular cleaning and is removable for easy cleaning.
Warning! Do not operate the device without air filters in place! It might contaminate
the evaporator.
It is recommended to clean the filter by wiping it with a damp cloth.
In case the filter needs more extensive cleaning, remove it from the
device.
• Switch off the device
• Remove the plug from the power socket.
• Remove the filter
• Remove the filter
• Use a clean rag to absorb the surface dust on the filter mash. If the filter is
extremely dirty, use tap water to rinse the filter.
• If needed, the honeycomb filter
over the filter. Do not use a cloth to dry the honeycomb filter.
• When the honeycomb filter
• Fully dry the filter mesh before placing it back in the device.
• Make sure the honeycomb filter
• Place the filter back in the device, until the clips are securing the filter and holding it
properly in place.
Cleaning the device
• Never use aggressive or abrasive cleaning materials, cleaning alcohol or sharp objects
like hard brushes or knives.
• Clean the exterior of the casing with a damp cloth.
• Then dry the exterior with a dry cloth.

• The device CANNOT be immersed in water.
