Scope of delivery
The BAS 60 planar antenna is preassembled in the factory before delivery.
Reception area/Footprints
The footprint is the reception area on the earth that a satellite covers with its transmission beam (spot), within which satellite reception
is possible. The transmission power is at its greatest in the centre of this spot – it becomes progressively weaker moving outwards.
The satellites broadcast the various channel packages in different footprints. In the main reception area (inner line) all programmes can
be received in good video and audio quality (exception: EUTELSAT II F1 – Wide Beam). In the marginal zones (outer lines), reception
is possible, although the quality of the received channels may differ greatly.
