Fitting kit
- 1 Ø6 insert
- 1 Ø6 CHC screw
- 1 Ø6 disc
- 1 plastic collar
Assembly
- Remove the original chain guard.
- Remove the exhaust system on right hand side, suspension and the brake hose bracket.
- Position the rear fender without tightening all the screws, align it well with the tyre.
- Mark the place of the hole on the right hand side of the swinging arm, and remove the rear
fender.
- Drill the swinging arm on the marking with Ø9.
- Fit the aluminium insert using a custom tool ("Facom or Würth"); otherwise fix the rear
fender using the plastic collar.
- Reposition the rear fender, making sure that it is well aligned with the tyre, the exhaust and
the suspension.
- Don't forget to harden the rear shock absorber when you ride with a passenger or on poor
road surface to avoid damaging the rear fender.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical
data of our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
* Our hugger and undertray are compatible.
