Fitting kit
- 1 Ø6 Complete insert.
- 1 Ring (to avoid drilling the swinging arm).
Assembly
- Remove the original chain guard.
- Place the rear fender on the swinging arm aligning it with the tyre and mark the place of Ø9
drilling for the fixing of the two provided inserts.
- Fix the aluminium inserts (of the same type that those used on the framework of GSX R for
various fixing), using a trade tool ("Facom" or "Würth").
- Cut 5mm off the ends of the attaching bolts of the footrests.
- Grind the hooks of the net fixing on the passenger handles along with the welding surplus (5mm)
of the engine cradle to avoid damaging the fender.
- Replace the rear fender on the left hand side using the original fixings of the original chain guard
and on the right hand side with the provided BTR screws, checking that the fender is still aligned
and tighten the screws carefully to avoid damage.
- Consider hardening the rear shock absorber when riding on poor road surfaces or with a
passenger to avoid damage to the rear fender.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the
technical data of our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
* Our hugger and undertray are compatible.
