Fitting kit
- 2 Ø5 inserts
- 2 Ø5 BHC screws
- 2 Ø5 plastic washers
- 2 plastic collars
- 1 Ø6 insert
- 1 Ø6 BHC screw
- 1 Ø6 plastic washer
Assembly
- Remove the original chain guard.
- Position the rear fender : be careful to align it properly. Mark out the holes on the right and
left hand sides on the swinging arm.
- Drill the swinging arm on the places marked Ø5.
- Position the insert Ø6 in the place of the plastic rivet on the chain guard side (only for the
2003 model) using a custom tool, "Facom or Würth".
- Position the Ø5 insert in the two holes previously drilled.
- Reposition the rear fender being careful to align it well to the wheel, taking care not to over
tighten it, as this could cause damage.
* Painted and varnished parts are not guaranteed against high pressure steam washes or aggressive cleaning products which can damage them and unstuck the varnish. We advise moreover, according to the technical data of
our painting suppliers, to wait one month to obtain a complete polymerization of varnish.
* Accessories gone up on the motorbike will not be any more considered as new and will be neither retaken nor exchanged.
* Ermax accessories are foreseen for original equipments. They will not be guaranteed if they are used in others conditions.
* Due to vehicles made tolerances, beyond our control, some Ermax products might need adjustings to fit.
* A few tyres, as Dunlop D207 or Michelin Pilot Power, not being for the given dimensions, are not compatible with undertray and rear hugger made for original tyres in standard dimensions.
* Harden the rear shock absorber while drivings with load or on dented roads.
* Aluminium screws are garanted until 6 Nm by our suppliers. Care to excessive clampings which may damage or break screws.
* Our hugger and undertray are compatible.
