Zu Ihrer Sicherheit
Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Die Geräte sind ausschließlich zum Einsatz im industri-
ellen Bereich bestimmt.
Die Netzteile dienen zur Versorgung des excom®-
I/O-Systems. Die Geräte sind in einer kombinierten
Ex-Schutzart Ex m, Ex e und Ex i ausgeführt und für
den Betrieb in Zone 1 geeignet. Als Bestandteil des
excom®-I/O-Systems dürfen die Netzteile nur mit den
dafür zugelassenen Modulträgern MT... (PTB 00 ATEX
2194 U bzw. IECEx PTB 13.0040U) betrieben werden.
GEFAHR
Die vorliegende Anleitung enthält keine Informatio-
nen zum Einsatz des Gesamtsystems.

Die Geräte dürfen nur wie in dieser Anleitung
beschrieben verwendet werden. Jede andere
Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Für
daraus resultierende Schäden übernimmt Turck keine
Haftung.
Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise
■
Nur fachlich geschultes Personal darf das Gerät
montieren, installieren, betreiben, parametrieren
und instand halten.
■
Die Geräte erfüllen ausschließlich die EMV-Anforde-
rungen für den industriellen Bereich und sind nicht
für den Einsatz in Wohngebieten geeignet.
■
Nur Geräte miteinander kombinieren, die durch
ihre technischen Daten für den gemeinsamen
Einsatz geeignet sind.
Hinweise zum Ex-Schutz
■
Bei Einsatz des Gerätes in Ex-Kreisen muss der
Anwender über Kenntnisse im Explosionsschutz
(EN 60079-14 etc.) verfügen.
■
Nationale und internationale Vorschriften für den
Explosionsschutz beachten.
■
Das Gerät nur innerhalb der zulässigen Betriebs-
und Umgebungsbedingungen (siehe Technische
Daten und Vorgaben durch die Ex-Zulassung)
einsetzen.
Bei Einsatz in Zone 1 und Zone 2:
■
Gerät in ein separat zugelassenes Gehäuse nach
EN 60079-0 mit einer Schutzart mind. IP54 nach
EN 60529 montieren.
Bei Einsatz im sicheren Bereich:
■
Wird Verschmutzungsgrad 2 nicht eingehalten,
Gerät in ein Schutzgehäuse mind. IP54 einbauen.

Funktionen und Betriebsarten
Das Netzteil nimmt eine Versorgungsspannung
von 24 VDC auf und versorgt alle angeschlossenen
excom®-Module mit eigensicherer AC-Spannung.
Die Netzteile lassen sich einzeln oder redundant
betreiben.
Im Redundanzbetrieb wird die Last auf beide Netzteile
aufgeteilt. Bei Ausfall eines Gerätes oder bei Unterbre-
chung der Zuleitung übernimmt das intakte Gerät die
Versorgung des gesamten Systems.
Anschließen
Die Netzteile müssen vor der Montage an die externe
Versorgungsspannung angeschlossen werden. Zum
Anschluss sind Ex e-Klemmen unter einer IP30-
Abdeckung auf dem Modulträger vorhanden. Die
IP30-Abdeckung kann nur aufgeklappt werden, wenn
kein Netzteil auf dem Modulträger montiert ist.

Nach Anschluss der Leitungen und Aufschalten der
Versorgungsspannung geht das Gerät automatisch in

Zum einwandfreien Betrieb müssen alle Befestigungs-
schrauben festgedreht sein.
Die Netzteile können auch während des laufenden
Betriebs gezogen oder gesteckt werden.
