How is it connected?
1. Remove the packaging from the therapy tube.
2. Before installation, check the tube, socket and power supply unit for damage.
3. Insert the power plug into the socket on the humidifier cuff.
4. Connect the humidifier cuff with the humidifier's air outlet.
5. Connect the mask cuff to the mask.
6. Turn on the humidifier and ensure there is a flow of air running through the
breathing tube.
7. Plug the power plug into a power socket and place the power supply unit onto the fl oor.
8. Use the LED indicator on the power supply to check if the power supply unit is working.
When working properly, the LED lights up green.
9. Put the mask on and start respiratory therapy according to your physician or respiratory
therapist's instructions, as well as the respiratory therapy device's user's manual.
10. Ensure that the breathing tube is not covered by objects, cushions of blankets during use.
Disconnecting the power supply plug from the
humidifier cuff
Press down the lever (1) at the rear and carefully remove
the plug (2) from the humidifier cuff.
Always disconnect the power to the Heated Breathing
Tube prior to switching off the humidifier and air flow.

5. Cleaning

Warnings:
1. Do not clean the power supply with water or any liquid.
2. Do not use harsh soaps, detergents, solvents or alcohols to clean the tube.
3. Only reassemble the system when the tube is fully dry.
4. Do not use a dishwasher to clean the Heated Breathing Tube.
5. Do not use the Hybernite System, if the room temperature higher than 30°C. Increased therapy
air temperature can cause irritation of the airways.
Clean the tube daily. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Remove the power supply plug from the humidifier cuff.
2. Clean the tube in lukewarm, mild soapy water.
3. Rinse out the tube with clean water.
4. Gently tap on the humidifier cuff to remove the remaining water from the plug connection.
5. Hang up the tube with both cuffs pointing downwards.
6. Let the tube dry completely.
