• The product is intended for use only in dry, indoor locations. No part of the product should
become damp or wet; never handle it if your hands are wet!
With the wall plug transformers there is also the deadly peril of an electric shock!
• Do not disconnect the wall plug transformers from the mains socket by pulling the cable. Take
hold of it on the sides of the housing and pull it out of the mains socket.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not touch it; there is danger to life from electric
shock!
Switch off all the poles of the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected
(switch off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off the
earth leakage circuit breaker). Unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
Replace the defective wall plug transformer only with a wall plug transformer of the same

General information on batteries/rechargeable batteries
www.conrad.com
• Batteries/rechargeable batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Check that the polarity is correct when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay attention to
plus/+ and minus/-).
Version 07/13
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; there is a risk that they could be swallowed by
children or pets. If they are swallowed, consult a doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged normal/rechargeable batteries in contact with the skin can cause acid burns; there-
fore, use suitable safety gloves.
Liquids leaking from batteries/rechargeable batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces
coming into contact with these liquids might be considerably damaged. Thus, store batteries/rechargeable
batteries in a suitable location.
• Ensure that batteries/rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited or thrown into a fi re. There is a risk of
explosion!
• Do not recharge normal, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion! Charge only recharge-
able batteries that are intended for this purpose; use a suitable battery charger.
• If the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. storage), remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries. Old
batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damages to the product; loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Always exchange the whole set of batteries/rechargeable batteries, only use batteries/rechargeable bat-
teries of the same type, by the same manufacturer and in the same charging state (do not mix charged
batteries with half-charged or fl at batteries/rechargeable batteries).
• Never mix normal batteries with rechargeable batteries. Use either batteries or rechargeable batteries.
• For the environmentally friendly disposal of batteries and rechargeable batteries, please read the chapter

• The input selected accordingly is looped through at the HDMI output (8) of the transmission unit. Here, you
can connect a TV set or monitor (if required).
• If you want to use the enclosed IR transmitter, plug the TRS connector into the corresponding socket (4)
on the transmitter unit.
• Place the IR transmitter in front of the IR receiver of your playback device (e.g. Blue-ray player). The
correct position is normally marked (e.g. with the inscription "IR"). In case of doubt, follow the "playback
device" operating instructions for where the IR receiver is installed.
