Intended use
The microphone is intended for converting acoustic signals (sound waves) into electric signals.
The low level audio output signal must only be connected to suitable microphone inputs on audio
devices.
Use of the product other than for its intended use described here is prohibited and will result in
damage to the product. It may also related to hazards such as short-circuit, fire, etc.
Read this user manual completely before first use and keep it for future reference.
The product as a whole must not be modified or altered!

Safety instructions
F irst read the complete user manual as it contains important information on using the
product.
I n case of damage caused by non-observance of these operating instructions, the
warranty gets void! We are not liable for any consequential damage!
W e are not liable for property damage or injuries caused by improper use or non-
observance of safety instructions! Such circumstances will void the warranty!
• For safety reasons, it is not permitted to alter and/or modify the microphone.
• The microphone must be powered by a device with a phantom power supply (48 V/
DC) only.
• Also follow the safety instructions of the device to which the microphone is con-
nected.
• Do not expose the product to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or dripping or
splashing water.
• Use the product in temperature climates only, do not use in the tropics.
• The product is not a toy; keep it out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave packaging material unattended, as children could use it as a toy creat-
ing hazardous situations.
• Handle the product with care; impacts, blows or falling from even low heights can
cause damage.
• Observe all other safety instructions in each chapter of these instructions.
• For installations in industrial facilities, follow the accident prevention regulations for
electrical systems and equipment of the government safety organization or the cor-
responding authority for your country.
• In case of doubts regarding the correct installation or if you have any questions not
being answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical sup-
port or any other expert.

Operation
I n order to avoid distortions or mismatching, which could damage the microphone or
any audio device connected, the product must only be connected to suitable micro-
phone inputs. Please refer to the connection values under "Technical data" for more.
O nly use a suitable, shielded microphone cable for connecting the microphone. Using
other cables could cause interferences.
N ever point the microphone at the sound outlet of speakers as this may result in feed-
back which can cause damage to the speakers and the connected amplifier.
• Mount the vibration damper to a microphone stand.
• Insert the microphone with shaft into the vibration damper.
• Place the included windscreen on the microphone if required.
• Turn off the audio device to which you wish to connect the microphone.
• Connect the audio device's input to the XLR connection on the microphone.
• On your audio device, activate the phantom power supply for the microphone.
• Turn on your audio device.
• Adjust the sensitivity of the audio device to the microphone using the corresponding input level
control (see the user manual of your audio device).
Maintenance and cleaning
The studio microphone is maintenance-free.
Use a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth for cleaning.
Never use any aggressive solvents or chemical solutions as these may cause damage to the hous-
ing surface.
Disposal
Electronic devices are resources and must not be disposed of through household
waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
