OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
This is the safety alert symbol used for the OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS section of this manual to alert you to potential
personal injury hazards. Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury or death.
1. Spot the trailer on a flat level surface. Set the landing gear and disconnect the trailer.
2. Consult the trailer manufacturer for the proper positioning of the stands under the trailer. The trailer must be capable of supporting its own
loaded weight and the weight of a forklift where the stand's saddle come in contact with the trailer. Stands are to be used in pairs.
3. Once the stands are in position turn the spin handles to the left (counterclockwise) to raise the saddles. Continue to raise the saddles until
they sit flush against the trailer. Turn the spin handles by hand until the saddles fit flat against the trailer. Do not use any other cheater bar
or tool to tighten the saddles against the trailer. The stands are intended to assist in stabilizing a load and not designed to lift a load. Do
not exert excessive lifting pressure against the trailer as it might cause the trailer to become unstable.
4. Make sure the trailer and stands are stable and secure before loading or unloading a trailer.

PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE

This is the safety alert symbol used for the PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE section of this manual to alert you to potential personal
injury hazards. Obey all instructions to avoid possible injury or death.
1. Always store the stands in a well protected area where they will not be exposed to inclement weather, corrosive vapors, abrasive
dust, or any other harmful elements. The stands must be cleaned of water, snow, sand or grit before using.
2. The stand must be lubricated periodically in order to prevent premature wearing of parts or rusting. A general purpose grease must
be applied to the extension screw. Make sure that no lubrication or grease comes in contact with the support saddle. Always
inspect the support saddle prior to use and remove any traces of a substance that could cause support saddle slippage.
3. Every jack stand owner is responsible for keeping the stand labels clean and readable. Use a mild soap solution to wash external
surfaces of the stand. Contact Sunex for a replacement label if your stand's label is not readable.
4. Inspect the stands before each use. Do not use the stands if any component is cracked, broken or bent. Do not use the stand if it
has loose or missing hardware or components, or is modified in any way. Take corrective action before using the stand again.
Premature wearing or damage to components caused by loose or missing hardware is not eligible for warranty consideration.
