Short cord instruction (detachable power-supply cord)
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) should be
used to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping
over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available
and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be
at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop
or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding-type 3-wire cord.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Remove all accessories and shipping materials packed inside the oven.
2. Wash the rack and grill tray with warm soapy water. Wipe the inside of the oven
with a damp cloth or sponge. Wipe up the inside of the oven with paper towels
before using it.
3. Place oven on a at counter or other stable surface. DO NOT OPERATE ON THE SAME
CIRCUIT WITH ANOTHER APPLIANCE.
4. Make sure that crumb tray is properly installed before using it.
For the rst time only, set the Temperature Knob to MAX, and set the function setting
and timer to roast and 15 minutes. This will burn o oils remaining in the oven.
NOTE: The oven may smoke during this process. This is normal for a new oven and
this phenomenon will not last more than 10-15 minutes.
