Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this IR Repeater Cable. This product has been designed to
provide trouble free, reliable operation. It benefits from both a LINDY 2 year warranty
and free lifetime technical support. To ensure correct use, please read this manual
carefully and retain it for future reference.
The IR repeater cable extends an IR signal allowing AV equipment to be installed in a
concealed location making it perfect for discreet installations. With support for
frequencies from 38 – 56 kHz the repeater cable is compatible with a wide range of AV
equipment, whilst its USB connector allows it to be powered directly from an USB port
on the AV equipment or from a USB power supply/charger.

Installation
1. Place the IR Receiver (larger of the two connectors) in a location where it may easily
receive the signal of your IR remote – it can receive a signal from up to 8m away.
2. Secure the receiver in position by removing the protective layer from the adhesive
label on the base of the Receiver.
3. Place the IR Emitter (smaller of the two connectors) in a location which is either:
a. Close to the IR Receiver of the AV equipment and secured by removing the
protective layer from the adhesive label on the base – it can emit a signal up to
20cm.
b. Over the top of the IR receiver and secured by removing the protective layer from
the adhesive label on the base.
4. Finally attach the USB connector to an available USB port on the AV equipment or to
a USB power supply/charger.
