Unpacking the Appliance

1. Remove the appliance from its packaging.
2. Remove all packaging materials such as films, filler
material, cable clips and carton.
3. Check the contents for completeness.
4. In case of incomplete delivery or damage, do not operate
the appliance. Return it to your dealer immediately.
NOTE:
Production residue or dust may have collected on the
appliance. We recommend cleaning the appliance accord-
ing to chapter "Cleaning".
Notes on Use
Attachments
Without attachment:
Vertical steam ironing for hanging garments
Textile brush attachment:
For a gentle and efficient method to eliminate creases on
textiles. (Place the attachment in a way that the clamp for
opening is facing downwards.)
Lint attachment::
For smoothing and removing lints. (Place the attachment in a
way that the steam holes are not covered.)
Fill in Water
1. Remove the water tank by pulling it out forwards.
2. Above the water tank is a stopper. Pull it off.
3. Fill the water tank with water.
NOTE:
• Do not exceed the marking MAX.
• Use distilled water to prevent limescale.
4. Close the water tank again with the stopper.
5. Put the water tank back into the appliance.

Electric Connection
1. Before inserting the power plug into the outlet, check
that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the
appliance. You can find the required information on the
nameplate.
2. Connect the mains plug to a properly installed shockproof
socket only.
Operation
CAUTION:
• Do not operate the device without water!
• Check the water level during operation.
1. Plug the power plug into the wall socket.
2.
NOTE:
If necessary, fit an attachment.
3. Turn on the unit using the On / Off button
the appliance.
NOTE:
The indicator light is red. After about 1 minute, the
required temperature is reached. The indicator light
turns green. The appliance is now ready for use.
4. Keep the appliance slightly away from the selected object.
5. Press the steam switch.
WARNING: Risk of scalding!
Hot steam emerges!
6. If you intend to use the steam for an extended period of
time, you can lock the steam switch. Press the steam
switch and simultaneously slide down the steam switch
lock button.
Water Refill
If no more steam emerges from the appliance, the water tank
is empty.
1. Remove the power cord from the socket.
2. Allow the unit to cool down for a few minutes.
3. Refill the water tank as described in the chapter "Fill in
Water".
Stop Operation
1. Remove the power cord from the socket.
2. Allow the unit to cool down for a few minutes.
3. Remove the water tank.
4. Open the stopper and discard the remaining water from
the water tank.
