If there are reasons for supposing that risk-free operation is no longer possible, the lighting chain must be
deactivated and protected against accidental operation. Risk-free operation can no longer be supposed
when the lighting chain
• no longer functions
• is visibly damaged
• has been stored long-term under adverse conditions, or
• has been exposed to stress during transport.
Please consider that damages caused by manual modifications to the device are not subject to warranty.

OPERATING DETERMINATIONS

This device consists of LED modules which form a lighting chain for creating decorative effects. This product
is allowed to be operated with a direct current of 12 V (or 15 V or 5 V, respectively, see Technical
Specifications) and was designed for indoor use only.
The device must only be operated with an appropriate safety transformer.
Do not shake the device. Avoid brute force when installing or operating the device.
When choosing the installation-spot, please make sure that the device is not exposed to extreme heat,
moisture or dust. There should not be any cables lying around. You endanger your own and the safety of
others!
The ambient temperature must always be between -5° C and +45° C. Keep away from direct insulation
(particularly in cars) and heaters.
This device must only be operated in an altitude between -20 and 2000 m over NN.
Never use the device during thunderstorms. Over voltage could destroy the device. Always disconnect the
device during thunderstorms.
Operate the device only after having familiarized with its functions. Do not permit operation by persons not
qualified for operating the device. Most damages are the result of unprofessional operation!

The symbol determines the minimum distance from lighted objects. The minimum distance
between light-output and the illuminated surface must be more than 0.1 meters.
Please use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
Please consider that unauthorized modifications on the device are forbidden due to safety reasons!
If this device will be operated in any way different to the one described in this manual, the product may suffer
damages and the guarantee becomes void. Furthermore, any other operation may lead to dangers like short-
circuit, burns, electric shock, etc.

INSTALLATION

Unpack the lighting chain modules and connect them to the desired length. Please always connect the
modules at the corresponding poles; + with + and – with -.
You can connect as many modules as the transformer can carry from the total power output.
The total power output can vary from transformer to transformer.
Install the lighting chain at the desired installation-spot.
