VI. INSTALLATION
10. Position skid plate (A6) with mounting flange
behind front skid plate. See Figure 7.
11. Align skid plate (A6) and install fasteners (B1) to
front fender location and 6 nut clip locations.
12. Align all skid plates for best fit and tighten all
(B1) fasteners.
13. All other fastener locations will use self tapping
fasteners (B2).
14. Center mark all locations and drill 11/64" pilot
hole. See Figure 8.
Note: Using a drill with a ½" drill bit is an easy way
to ensure getting a good center mark for drilling
the pilot hole. Caution- Do not drill a through
hole. Just drill enough to scribe the location for
the smaller pilot hole.
15. Install fasteners (B2).
16. Remove lower fasteners on front bumper fascia.
17. Align bumper skid plate (A4) and install fasteners
(B1) in location of fasteners removed in step 16.
See Figure 9.
18. All other fastener locations (4) will use self
tapping fasteners (B2).
19. Center mark all locations and drill 11/64" pilot
hole.
20. Install fasteners (B2).
