General instructions regarding the bat-
tery:
To prolong the service life of the battery,
observe the following instructions:
The LI-ION POWER RR 3000 is auto-
matically switched off when the battery
voltage is low. In such a case, rechar-
ge the battery.
The lithium iron battery must also be
recharged before prolonged periods of
non-use, for example at the beginning
of winter.
The charging time for completely flat li-
thium ion batteries is 30 minutes.
The charging time is increased, if the
battery is charged at a temperature
outside the recommended range.
The lithium ion battery can be rechar-
ged at any charge level, and charging
can be interrupted and resumed
without any damage to the battery (no
memory effect).

Ensure that you are standing on firm
ground, especially when working abo-
ve head height.
Keep the blade away from your body.
Prepare the secateurs for operation.
Place the battery in the tool as shown in fi-
gure

The LI-ION POWER RR 3000 is suitable
for both right-handed and left-handed
users.
1. Press and hold the release switch
2. Press the ON/OFF switch
3. Release the release switch.

Remove the battery
Do not touch the moving blade.

If the ON/OFF switch remains pressed,
the blades open and close continuous-
ly, whereby the blade remains open for
approx. 0.8 seconds before it closes
again.
Switch off the secateurs
Release the ON/OFF switch (2).

As soon as the tool is switched off, the
blades are opened.
Blade protection

The blade protection reduces the risk
of injury.
Place the blade on the branch to be cut

Overload protection

In the event of an overload or blocka-
ge, the blades open and the motor is
automatically switched off!
Disconnect the battery and eliminate
the cause!
After the cause of the overload has
been eliminated, the secateurs can be
switched on again.
Cutting tips

sure that this hand is well clear of the cut-

tober (cut back by approx. 1/3 of the to-
tal height during winter)
Coniferous hedges: April and October
Conifers: April and October
Floribunda roses: April/May
Spring-flowering plants: May/June
Soft fruit plants: January/February, Ju-
ly/August, November/December
Trees: Mid of October to end of De-
cember
Cleaning
Clean the tool after every use with a dry cloth.
if necessary, use a brush to remove persis-
tent dirt.
Never clean the tool with a water jet.
