Electrical connection
The machine is a protection class II appliance. To protect the user, the motor may
only be used with a circuit breaker for when current leaks are too high. This is why
the motor is delivered with a GFCI switch built into the power cable.
Warning!
!
▪
The GFCI must never remain in the water.
▪
The GFCI must not be used to switch the motor on or off
▪
Before you start work, please make sure that the GFCI is operating
(see below: using the GFCI).
Make sure that you only use extensions with three conductors and a protective
conductor and a sufficient section. A section that is too weak may cause a loss of
power and cause the motor and the power cables to heat up. Make sure that the
cable has been fully unrolled.
Before you use the motor make sure that the electricity network
data corresponds to the data on the motor information plate
(voltage, frequency).
Differences in voltage between +6% and -10% are accepted.
USING THE GFCI
1 – Insert the GFCI plug into the power socket
2 – Press RESET. The LED turns red ("ON")
3 – Disconnect the power plug. The LED goes off.
4 – Repeat operation 1 and 2.
5 – Press TEST. The red LED goes off.
6 – Press RESET to power up the appliance.
The GFCI protects against electrical problems related to the problem and not faults
with the electricity supply network.
