The LIMITER prevents audible power amplifier
clipping. Just before clipping occurs the signal is
reduced to prevent audible clipping. The LIMITER
allows clear playing at higher output levels.

The CONTOUR control produces a unique sound
alternative. The CONTOUR attenuates the midrange
and boosts a band of high frequencies.

Each TONE CONTROL permits a wide range of
adjustment. The four overlapping controls cover the

The signal at the EFFECTS SEND jack normally feeds
the power amplifier. The EFFECTS RETURN jack,
when used, disconnects the original signal going to the
amplifier. Together the two jacks form the effects loop.

Electronic circuitry minimizes the possibility of hum
when the amplifier is connected to an external device.

An external EXTENSION SPEAKER can be connected
via the EXTENSION SPEAKER OUTPUT jack on the
back panel. The minimum impedance of the external
speaker load is 4 Ohms. The output jack is wired
parallel with the internal speaker so that the internal
speaker will continue to operate when an extension
cabinet is used. The power amplifier is electronically and
thermally protected against unsafe loads.
