BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the slicer for the first time, clean food contact surfaces (see CLEA-
NING AND MAINTENANCE section).
WARNING: Handle the blade with caution. Otherwise, it could be cut.
FUNCTIONING
The slicer allows you to cut all kinds of food, from paper-thin ham to meat
steaks.
1. Place the slicer on a flat, stable surface.
2. Push the slicer down onto the counter so that the suction feet are attached to
the surface.
3. Place the food you want to cut on the slide carriage with the hand guard
correctly positioned, and ensuring that the hand guard firmly holds the food to
be cut.
4. Select the desired cutting thickness by turning the thickness control knob
(0mm to 15mm).
5. Plug the slicer power cord into the outlet. Before plugging in the appliance,
check that the switch is off.
6. Turn on the slicer.
7. To cut, grasp the slide guide firmly while holding the hand guard and gently
slide the slide carriage back and forth in a smooth, continuous motion.
Important: Do not use this appliance without the sliding guide to
correctly placed food and hand protector.
To ensure even cutting, do not press the food excessively against the blade.
Check the desired thickness of the food and adjust the thickness control knob
accordingly.
8. After cutting, turn off and unplug the slicer from the electrical outlet.
The appliance must not operate continuously for more than 10 minutes. Before
using it again, wait until it has cooled down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Warning: Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and unplug it from the
power outlet.
DO NOT WASH ANY PIECE OF THE WIRE CUTTER IN THE DISHWASHER.
