The epilator is
epilating
being moved in
results
the wrong
direction.
The epilating
head is placed
on the skin at
the wrong angle.
The skin or hair
was treated with
a (depilatory)
cream prior to
epilation.
The
sensitive area
cap was on the
epilating head
during epilation.
The
The socket to
appliance
which the
does not
appliance has
work
been connected
is not live.
Solution
Move the appliance against the
direction of hair growth, with the on/
off slide pointing in the direction in
which you are moving the appliance.
Make sure that you place the
appliance perpendicularly onto the
skin (see chapter 'Using the
appliance').
Make sure your skin is clean, entirely
dry and free from grease. Do not use
any cream before you start epilating.
Make sure that the hairs to be
removed have a length of at least
3mm to guarantee proper hair
removal.
You should not use the precision cap
when epilating your legs, as the cap
reduces the number of active
epilating discs. NB: Never use the
epilator without the precision cap
when epilating the underarms or
bikini line.
Make sure the socket is live. If you
have connected the epilator to the
socket in a bathroom cabinet, you
may need to switch on the bathroom
light to activate the socket.
